Something else I was confused about, along with similar movies like HOP or those SMURF films, is why it's gotta have live action sequences? Why not make it completely animated? I don't know, especially considering that the 1992 version was entirely animated (aside from the frame sequences with Beatrix Potter), and it was an excellent adaptation. Before the trailer was released, I assumed it was simply to do something different from other adaptations, but now that I know the film is going to be nothing like the book, I'm really scratching my head. |
