Before we use NFL divisions as geographical absolutes, please remember Dallas is in the East according to their division. When Carolina first started playing, they were in the NFC West. Heck, New Orleans was in the NFC West for a long time. After expansion Tampa Bay was in the AFC West and then NFC Central. Figure that one out. |
