That is actually the reason his dialogue does work for me. It's because that feels like it is saying his character is pretentious, for lack of a better word. Also the more I ponder K's story arc, the more I feel his arc mirrored Batty's actually. Roger Deakins outdid himself. The cinematography is masterful. |
