Those movies are good DESPITE the flat leads, not because of them. Says the guy who hasn't watched them. Maybe you should ask some movie fans if they think the characters are flat. I bet you wont find many who think they are boring characters because they aren't whining about their father not loving them. Or requiring a globalist crew to solve problems. I have, and what makes those movies good are the supporting characters and the action. Not the leads. Unforgiven took a different approach which is why it's the modern classic it is (well, as Modern as you can be for an early 90s flick). |
