I mean I am surmising a flop?. Perhaps. It didn't seem that bad from the trailer. It will be going up against a film with a female lead, which may not be as appealing as a revenge flick with Bruce Willis. I'd say, regardless of whenever it is released, it would do moderate business at best, due to it's violent nature. If it does become more popular, this would be a bonus. Females and younger audiences might prefer Red Sparrow and it will be a film for the more discerning film goer, rather than a gut wrenching and visceral experience like DW would be. Many, may want to see both however. I don't see any detriment to the business DW would do regardless of when they released it. It's only held back due to the Vegas incident.
