The fact that you can't even come up with an alternative to keep Ronan distracted long enough for Rocket and Drax to repair the cannon, even though I asked, says a lot.

Why do I need to come up with an alternative scene? I didn't write the movie.

But I'll bite. If I did write the movie, I would've just had Quill try to attack Ronan to save his friends, then Rocket could save him with the gun after Ronan almost kills him. Not perfect, but it would've built their character bond and had the same end effect as well as making Quill's connection with his dying mother grow on top of all of that.

It's really not a big deal, dude. You take all of this way too personally.
