I have to agree that the series should have ended with Walker's untimely death. It's a fun franchise but I think it's about played out unless they got back to the roots and have it deal with underground street racing. I'm just not big on all these world ending terrorists that some gear heads have to stop.
I know I'm in the minority but I actually liked Tokyo Drift. It was closer to the original film in a lot of ways even though it had completely different characters (outside of Diesel's cameo at the end).
I've actually seen all the films in the theaters minus the newest one (i had to wait until the disc came out) and they are impressive on the big screen which I think is one of the main draws. But I do lament the intimacy of the first film and Tokyo Drift. The scope was much smaller and it made for a better film.
