If so, who are the worst offenders? And if not, what are some examples of films that don't rely on coincidences to drive the plot forward? Worst offender is probably Captain America: Civil War.
Bucky murders Howard and Maria Stark on a random road in the middle of nowhere, and coincidentally there just happened to be a camera at that exact location pointing at just the correct angle to record the whole thing on film. And the murders were in 1991, before the widespread use of traffic cams.
Also, Bucky, Cap, and Iron Man all coincidentally show up at the remote base in Siberia at the same time to watch the videotape together, even though Bucky and Cap had several hours head start on Iron Man.
