They must have enjoyed the visuals. Or they had a nice nap.
2049 desperately needed a Roy Batty. Something. Anything, to break up the monotony.
And what was up with that end fight? Instead of a desperate cat and mouse game through a decaying structure with a dying superman, we got Mel Gibson squaring off with Gary Busey beneath Danny Glover's lawn sprinklers ... while Indiana Jones was tied up in a car from Woody Allen's sci-fi comedy, Sleeper.
