I didn't mention with one word a European super league, nor did I say anything about "FIFA or UEFA regulated tournaments" in general. On the contrary. My comment was about international football vs. club football, specifically about the World Cup. And the reason isn't the players wanting money or power (the players don't earn a fortune partaking in the World Cup), but that tournament having the highest stakes (you can win it only once in four years) and the highest prestige (the entire world is watching it).
I'm not going to go on about the other issues; we've been going around in circles here, and it's off topic here again. Just one thing. "The badly managed incompetent Hoffenheim and Freiburg"... two of the best managed clubs in the league. And that coming from a Bayern fan, a club that hasn't exactly covered itself with glory in the respect during the past two years in that respect. I'd name other examples than Freiburg and Hoffenheim for poor management, and right now Bayern is not far from the top of that list.
