I mean films that have remained popular critically and also by audiences. I dont think Schindler's List or SPR have remained popular with audiences. Jurassic Park was praised for its FX not so much for Spielberg's direction.

Jaws and Duel still get good ratings from critics and audiences.

SPR is constantly on television, it's still a popular film. JP is a great movie from top to bottom, it's more than special effects. It wouldn't be popular 25 years later if it were just about the fx that you see in every film now. Can't remember the last time I heard anyone mention Duel.
