It's a shame. He is one of the best players in the entire league and apparently also a very nice guy in real life. It's his third concussion. I hope he is well and recovers, but you're right that one after the other like this, takes a toll. When you say that it's his third concussion it's probably more like his 17th if you count high school, college, and the unreported ones. Hopefully he'll be ok. Good point. No wonder many professional football players end up with dementia. It's sad. On the other hand, they get paid very well, and some of the wise ones get a good chunk of money then quit, to preserve their health. |
