Flames are definitely playing some good hockey lately. I think we all liked the Elliott signing in the offseason. That was looking disastrous for most of the year but he's playing well of late. It took Micheal Ferland of all players to get Monahan and Gaudreau going. That line has been really good lately. Backlund and Tkachuk have been good all year.
Don't see them coming out of the west, but there's more than enough there to maybe make some postseason noise.
