The level of sanctimonious whining about his behaviour, mainly from Republicans I think, is clearly way out of control. He took a knee during a song... big deal! Get over it! The song is the national anthem. The piece of cloth is the American flag. Kaepernicks childish behavior is because he wasn't good enough to keep his job as QB. Now he basically playing the race card to make it sound like he has some kind of noble cause. Just look at the stupid pig socks he wore. He has brought it all on himself by whinging like a brat.

Maybe the 49ers will take him back if he agrees to work for the league minimum. The 49ers deserve Colin Kaepernick.
