We have had girl scouts for like 30 years. It's great, much better that girls have the option, Girl guides is shit. I wanted to be a scout when I was a kid, but girls weren't allowed...my own daughter has been a scout for years, though. Girl guides never appealed to either of us. I have an issue with guides ever since we saw a troop starting the tramp we just did 8 hours of at 5pm, very dangerous. But yeah might look at becoming a leader again when my girl is old enough. |
