I guess it's considered a hard game. It's one of my favorites and I've been playing it a lot lately.
Here's a 168k no-death run that I recorded on my TV. Not the best quality because I'm just recording the TV. My highest score is 174k, but this is good. No deaths and no random wands that grant an extra 10 seconds.
