I feel like I'm missing something with all Edgar Wright's movies. I've never disliked any of his movies, he's certainly the best aesthetic filmmaker of his comedy director peers, but I just don't see them as these great genre deconstructions that everyone else does. Baby Driver has some well done done action sequences, but months after seeing it I can't tell you the plot of the movie, I can't even list songs off the soundtrack. I doubt there will ever be a day where I feel like watching a car movie and reach for Baby Driver over Drive, Death Proof, Vanishing Point, etc.
