Winter Soldier has some of the best action scenes in the MCU to date. Well, way better than Civil War, which were unwatchable to be fair, I think it was the writing, not the Russo bros. WS was relatively character based, small scale and darker in tone (for MCU) and the action was perfectly adequate for that. CW was a logistical nightmare of chaotic, joke-y character interaction and several origin and flashback stories, and the action just reflected that. |
