As long as there are more than 1 major comic book companies (or split studios holding the rights in the case of Marvel) there will never be peace on any board. There will always be rivals. Hell, even if there was 1 major comic book company, then the rivalry will go down to superhero groups and characters. People will always want something to be better than the other. And that's fine but, when it deteriorates into personal attacks, baseless accusations and bullying there's no excuse. Rivalry or no, people can state their opinions while being civil if they're over the age of 15. That goes with it because some feel like you are attacking them personally for something they like. Look at the recent discussions between me and summer8. He or she went to the point of being paranoid from what I was saying. Even when I said which X-men movies I did like he or she still said I was lying and that I actually hated all the X-men movies. |
