I assumed they would be. Not many directors stay in a franchise for four plus movies. The only one I can think of is David Yates and the HP movies. Surprised he hasn't been tapped for any DCEU movies. Yates was always a hit or miss. I think his first potter film (Order of the Phoenix) was the worst of the adaption. He did well with Half Blood Prince from a film making stand point by condensing such a complex book to less than a 3 hrs film. And as excellent as Deathly Hallows 2 was, he kind of ruined Voldermort. I also thought Fantastic Beasts was average. I wish he will stop making potter movies, he is almost like Singer from X-Men movies . this men just don't know when to retire and stop getting involved. yeah, they will have some high moments in the franchise but after that it is nowhere but down.
