All that changed when MCU fans were born and this was around 2010, they turned what used to be a friendly rivalry with good discussions into an almost deranged toxic war
it is clear to me that many MCU fans are not actual marvel fans who have been around since the 60s. if you were to see their behaviour their love for marvel is exclusive only to MCU, most of them have never held a comic before in their lives.. they just love what they see in MCU movies.it really is sad that we ask the question why we cant all be friends thinking of the bizarre day that was yesterday
when you have stupid mcu fans insisting and desperately lieing DOFP is nothing more but a rip off of T2 forgetting actual facts that DOFP is much older than the movie or just basic XMen stories, and magneto is a dr doom knock off even though stan lee created both characters to be polar opposites of one another. they say this garbage just because this characters and movies don't fall under MCU properties, No real Marvel fan since the 60s behaves that way, its hard to even continue a real conversation that can turn to friendship.
DC fans are not as bad as MCU fans for the reasons that DC fans don't make shit up and just lie so easily.
X-Men fans just want to be left alone instead of dealing with MCU fans brain-dead plan to make X-Men a part of the MCU when we have told them, MCU cannot make X-Men movies. what more proof do you want after Deadpool, Logan and DOFP or as far back as X2.
Many MCU fans are just classless, toxic and borderline delusional with no respect of themselves. What we need to do is separate marvel fans from MCU fans. they are not the same.
Well said!
I've said this before. It's not really a Marvel vs DC war or an MCU vs DCEU war. It's really an MCU vs DC and Fox and Sony war. Most MCU fans just hate anything that isn't MCU, whether it's DC or the X-Men movies or the Fox Spider-Man movies.
Well said too. guys let's all think about it from the beginning.
Batman 1989, Batman Returns, Superman 1 and Superman 2. I don't care if you like marvel or dc, this movies started it all and paved the way until one small event in 1997 almost killed the genre (batman and robin)
do you remember at the dawn of the new millennium when we all loved the first xmen movie in 2000, after how poorly Batman and Robin went and everyone saying the genre was dead and will never recover? it did not matter if you liked marvel or dc, we comic fans were just glad, the genre gained back its credibility.
then we had Spiderman, X2, Spiderman 2, Batman Begins, TDK, Road to Perdition, Sin City.
it did not matter if you liked Marvel or DC or Independent comics, as long as you were a comic fan, we appreciated good comic films.
All that changed with the marvel cinematic universe and some of their retarded fans that started going out of their way to de-legitimise and try and take down any comic movie or property not part of their ''cinematic universe.'' As I said yesterday, I am bored of the mcu babies.
