One of the best and most interesting films I ever saw. Then we share a similar experience. It is indeed a very high quality movie. I also found that there was a sort of sexual tension in this movie all through. |

I first saw the movie many years ago and I am still to this day very disappointed that we never found out what the heck happened to the 3 missing girls.

While I agree that Picnic At Hanging Rock is beautifully shot, mysterious and subtly creepy, overall I found it to be dull. The Last Wave is a better Peter Weir film in my opinion.
