Everyone may have a movie they simply stopped watching after a few minutes. The Shrink (2009) was mine last night. Looked like it was going to be one of those "we'll introduce ourselves one at a time, grow together slowly, and have a collective 'kumbaya' at the end" movie. No thanks.

At the theater? Moulin Rouge. At home? So far this year I have stopped 6 movies before even reaching the halfway point, because they were either boring or uninteresting. The most recent one was Talk Radio.

Angela's Ashes. That was largely because we only went into it to fill an hour long gap between two other movies, so we knew we would be leaving. But holy crap, I was soooo glad to be able to walk out on it. Most depressing movie ever.
I wished I could have walked out of 21 Grams. But then I'd rather gnaw my own foot off than watch that tripe again.

I've never done it, but by God I've been tempted to.

Not a popular opinion, but most recently John Wick chapter 2. After about an hour, as soon as Franco Nero's role was over ( I supposed so)

I walked out on: The Day of the Locusts. (The mayhem near the end was too much for poor little old me!) Tee Hee
I should have walked out on: Pootie Tang. (Someone begged me to go and we were literally the only two people in the theatre. The movie was an incoherent fiasco! )

Really? I didn't watch it yet but some people told me they really liked it. Maybe too much hype?

Really? I didn't watch it yet but some people told me they really liked it. Maybe too much hype? That's what people told me! Maybe I just wasn't in the mood for it. I do tend to get bored with too much action sometimes though and there seemed to be nothing but that in the first half hour. I might give it another go.

Ghost Rider and I wasn't the only one at that showing. It was i think at the part with the helicopter stunt. It just got too damn stupid.

Cloverfield (2008) due to motion sickness.
The Other Woman (2014). I'm usually a fan of rom-coms, but good God, that movie sucked! I don't know what prompted me to see it in the theater after the mediocre reviews it received at the time.
