The Little Princess
Not because it was bad but because it wasn't an animated film. I 5 years old at the time.

It took me four tries to finish Assassin's Creed.

Back in the 60s, My mom, brother and I walked out on Deadfall. I had read the book and wanted to see the movie. For some reason, it annoyed the crap out of mom and she made us leave.

Everyone may have a movie they simply stopped watching after a few minutes. The Shrink (2009) was mine last night. Looked like it was going to be one of those "we'll introduce ourselves one at a time, grow together slowly, and have a collective 'kumbaya' at the end" movie. No thanks. Haven't ( yet ) The closest I ever came was about 30 minutes into Avatar. The overload of CGI space creatures was giving me Episode I flashbacks!

I'm a huge Michael Caine fan, and I did like Deadfall. He was definitely a big cinema star in those days. My brother and sister and I walked out of a musical called 1776. It was horrible.

I never walked out on a movie I saw in theaters. No matter how terrible it is, I suffer in silence.

I too was one who always finished a movie once it had started but find that I no longer have the patience to sit through total schlock.
Recently, I have abandoned "The Blair Witch Project", "Hollow Man", "Cowboys and Aliens", "The Saint", "The Great Outdoors", and "Any Which Way You Can". I should have nuked "Man on the Moon" and "The Mexican" but I stayed with them to their un-satisfying ends.

I used to finish all movies I started to watch, but in recent years I no longer have the patience for it. Ditto ! Have too many un-watched movies to spend time on ones that are just "not working". The thrift stores seem to appreciate the rejects.

Really? I didn't watch it yet but some people told me they really liked it. Maybe too much hype? Darling little dog!

'Rogue One' The characters were so bland and boring that I became increasingly frustrated, because not caring about what happend to them meant the action scenes became equally boring. Visually I thought it was beautifully designed - which only made me become more irritated (because I wanted so much to enjoy it) to the point where I just couldn't stand it anymore. I stood up and left - something I have never done before.

Although I have been tempted, I have never walked out on a film at the theater. I did observe a large number of people walk out on Alien3 when they killed off Newt's character and threw her body into the incinerator, they were mostly angry mothers I think.

Newt was the most annoying part of Aliens( granted, I'm not a big fan of Aliens)

I've never walked out. But there were a few times where within the first five minutes, I knew I'd made a mistake purchasing a ticket. Specifically with Scary Movie 2 and Man of Steel.
