That battle was one of the most epic action scenes ever produced for a CBM. They already had 10 years and 18 films worth of character development.

Pretty much. It did feel like a Transformers film. for me it had more a Starship Troopers or The Hobbit 3 feel to it, all mixed with some LotR magic items spin. |
