You now KNOW it's two years from The Forgotten (1973) and that it's FROM the early 70s, NOT the mid-70s. So it CAN'T BE from 1975 since that's the mid-70s. THUS leaving 1971 as the ONLY year this film CAN BE from. So make SURE YOUR GUESS is from 1971.
