The Nats will be fine. Daniel Murphy hasn't played a game yet, and Anthony Rendon and Adam Eaton have barely played. You get those 3 guys back healthy with a vaunted rotation, the thus-far mediocre bullpen should round into shape a bit.
The Braves will slip a bit as their bullpen is awful and their rotation isn't great. Julio Teheran has under-performed thus far....really for his whole career if you think about it....Mike Foltywhatevertheshit is a flame thrower but is pitching head and shoulders above his career numbers (it's one thing to figure it out but I can't see what he's doing as being sustainable), Brandon McCarthy is Brandon McCarthy, the backend of their rotation hasn't been good....but holy hell if they don't have the two most exciting young players in baseball in Ozzie Albies and Ronald Acuna. The Phillies have a more well-rounded team at this point, but the Braves will be must-watch TV if these two can keep it up. Acuna has a sweet swing to boot. Oh yeah, Dansby Swanson has cooled off, down to .287/.330 after a torrid start, but this kid can flat out play. 3 young foundation pieces to build around, to go along with Freedie Freeman. If Julio Teheran could just become what they need him to be....

If Julio Teheran could just become what they need him to be.... i'm not so sure, most of the nats success these past couple years was loading up on the weak nl east, the bravos and phillies aren't weak anymore. last year the nats vs. the nl east they were: 47-29 . outside of the nl east they were around just over 5 games over .500. this year the nats aren't even a .500 team vs. the nl east, just 5-7 . hard to see where they are going to get those easy wins they could count on in their division.

Well they're just not healthy right now. Those are 3 cogs in their lineup that are missing and the Phils and Bravos are playing well above what they are likely to do the rest of the year. You're right about them being better though. If that's what their record was against the NL East last year, then that made them 49-36 against the rest of MLB, 13 games over. That's, what, a .580 winning percentage? It's not so much a question of easy wins, they just need to get right and start winning series.
