Who ?
Exactly.
He won ahead of Brendan Rodgers, Steve Clarke, Neil Lennon and others and what makes his achievement really special is the fact that he is boss of second tier team, St Mirren, who have recently won the Scottish Championship and promotion to the SPL. He took over the Buddies 18 months ago when they were bottom of that league. He was offered the manager's job by Dundee and then Barnsley but decided to remain in Paisley where St Mirren are based. Luckily his name was never mentioned when the Zombies were sticking a pin in their list of the possible victims they were looking at, to replace the unfortunate Graeme Murty. At 41 years old, he has the world at his team's feetand like many others, I look forward to seeing how his team performs in the top division. Brendan Rodgers is a fan.
Celtic players won the other awards. Scott Brown as Player-of-the-Year and Kieran Tierney as Young-Player-of-the-Year (for the 3rd successive year)
