Its price is actually unaffected!
You'd do better with those big bottles of crappy cider. Some of those have tripled in price!

Can't be sold for less than £11.25 up here now. I think it was only around £3.50 yesterday. Is it any good?

Popular with the street drinking community though. 11 squid a bottle😨 Man, I'm gonna load a van up down here, make a fortune banging it out for 5 squid a time up north.

Went out last night and bought a 1L bottle of Lidl's own brand gin for £14.19. Costs £18.75 today. (And a £2.99 bottle of wine.)
Not sure why, because I never drink spirits!

Jakey on the radio, drinks two 3 litre bottles of tramp juice every day. Gone from £5 a day yesterday, to £22 today.
Says people like him will just drive to England once a week, and fill the car boot up.

That's 315 units of alcohol a week he's consuming - over 22 times the maximum recommended amount!

The 'Gin Smash' - supposedly only to be enjoyed during Wimbledon - like the Mint Julep is only supposed to be savored during the Kentucky Derby Day. Many versions/recipes - it's basically the Mojito's more sophisticated older brother - you just swap the Rum out with Gin - here's one variation

Gin is drunk with Indian tonic water, ice and a slice is optional. Nothing more, nothing less. End of.
