Kyle. The future HOF battery of Kyle Drabek to Travis D'Arnaud never made it here. Or anywhere. In a long line of flops. Marty Janzen, JP Arencibia, Travis Snider...

Well yeah, except he'd been touted as his generations finest catcher. Every time I look he's either struggling or injured. I see he's got a whopping 16 plate appearances this year. At least Dickey ate innings for the Jays during their 2 recent playoff runs.

Matt Harvey designated for assignment! The ultimate prima donna refused a well-deserved demotion to the minors to work out his mechanics and is now a free agent. Have at em, boys!

I hope he signs with the Reds, gives up 4 home runs in his first inning of work, and then disappears forever. Actually, I do look forward to whatever interview he gives in the next week completely shit-talking the Mets, Met fans, me personally, Sandy Alderson and whoever else is to blame for him being the worst pitcher in all of baseball. Get the popcorn ready for that one.

I honestly have no idea. I know Matt assumes that the Yankees, Dodgers and Cubs are all lining up, ready to offer him a 50-year, $50 billion contract, but obviously everyone else has MLB Network too and they see how atrocious he's been for the past 2+ seasons. Minor league deal from what team? I'm going Nats. He'll have a decent outing or two, then come in and shit the bed before getting cut again.

You know what, yeah I've been bad mouthing him, but FUCK MATT HARVEY. Roy Halladay and Cliff Lee, two pitchers who had great careers, both took demotions to the minors after achieving success and came back strong after faltering. You think you're better than those guys? You don't have the class that either of them have (or had) in their big toe, you selfish, pussyboy asshat. Good riddance, Matt Harvey. I hope the rest of your career be as famously disastrous as you deserve.

Then again, he's cheap, $5 million and change for this year, FA after. I can't see the Yankees thinking a stay in New York will be beneficial. The Dodgers never shy away from big names, so I'll say LA, Dodgers 1 and Angels 1A. He hasn't been the same since 9th inning of Game 5 of the 2015 WS. Bet he wishes he had a time machine. "No Terry, I'm done. Let the bullpen get these last three outs."

The Marlins have now won 3 series in a row! Our pitching is doing much better than expected, our bullpen is pretty good actually. If only Jeter hadnβt given away all of our hitting for basically nothing.

His problems aren't physical, they are mental and mechanical. He has flaws in his delivery and is unwilling to work on them. He thinks he's still The Dark Knight of the beginning of 2013. He got too much, too soon. University of North Carolina to the next Tom Seaver in two years.
