NL East is wide open with Braves, Phillies, Nats, Mets all within 3 games of each other. May be the strongest division. Looks like the Mets are enjoying some addition by subtraction after ditching Harvey, and with Degrom back they are pulling together and hanging in there despite some other injuries and no real catcher.

The home run barrage from JD Martinez and Markus Lynn Betts continues. Red Sox offense is amazing, Mookie with 17 HR’s, JD with 16 now. They are red hot right now, Moreland is playing well as well, so good that the released Hanley Ramirez who was in a huge slump. |

Astros have got to change up their bullpen IMO, Giles is struggling, they have other guys who can close, maybe they should give them a try, it wouldn’t hurt. Brewers take 3 of 4 against the Mets, they are red hot right now. They have MLB’s best bullpen and a very deep team, are they the best in the NL? |

And now Syndergaard is heading to the DL with a ligament strain on his right index finger (his pitching hand). 10 day DL stint, which in Metland means he'll be out of action for 6 weeks.
I hate baseball. More importantly, it clearly hates me.
