Does anybody here still remember when the City of Vancouver went Nuts right after the Vancouver Canucks Lost Game 7 of the 2011 "STANLEY CUP FINALS" ?
I still to this day have never seen an Entire City go as Crazy, Violent, and Berserk over Losing a Sports Championship as Vancouver did on that Day.
What about everybody else here ?

Collingwood fans in Melbourne went crazy after WINNING a premiership and burned down two vacant shops on the main street. Plenty of arrests and brawls too.
After losing, can't think of any in Australia. A famous one was in the West Indies in 1978. A second string Australian team were about to win a test match in Jamaica and then the crowd rioted after a West Indian batsman showed anger at being given out, forcing play to be called off and the riot squad cleared out the ground using teargas. The riot spilt out into the city and they started throwing rocks into the stadium trying to hit the Australians.

Vancouver rioted that year when they won the first series. I remember thinking...but there’s still so much hockey left! You haven’t achieved anything yet!
So I was very happy they wound up losing.

To be fair, that was because they beat their hated nemeses the Chicago Blackhawks, who had eliminated them from the playoffs several times already, in OT of game 7.
