Or they could be going for a more gymnastic build on Batman, like when he first showed up in Detective Comics #27.

Or they could be going for a more gymnastic build on Batman, like when he first showed up in Detective Comics #27. They could be or they might make him wear one of those muscle things underneath his Batman costume like they got Brandon Routh to wear for 'Superman Returns' which is kinda funny looking back on that 'cause Brandon Routh wouldn't need to wear one of those now. I am surprised they don't get more actors and actresses to wear things like that and they could have come up with one for Melissa Benoist to wear as Supergirl so she looks more muscular and adding padding to her arms and the same with Ruby Rose as Batwoman. It would make them look more like they do in the comic books without having to spend all the time in the gym for the roles.

But with a giant codpiece and nipples! Can't forget the nipples.

I actually thought more about a member on this forum I talked to named mszanadu but 'Zanadu' was a classic and if you are a fan of Olivia you should try to check out 'Hopelessly Devoted to You' which has Delta Goodrem playing her but I am not sure if you can get that in America or not. I have big news about 'Swamp Thing'!! DC have officially announced the two actors who will be playing the leading role and Andy Bean will play Alec Holland and Derek Mears will be playing Swamp Thing. Here is an article about it and the trailer of 'Hopelessly Devoted to You' DC Universe has found its 'Swamp Thing'www.yahoo.com/entertainment/dc-universe-found-swamp-thing-212055030.html

Huh. The video won't play. Well, not on this board. They actually disabled it from playing anywhere but YouTube. So I watched it. It's not bad but it's hard to get a feel for it without any other snippets. For some reason it makes me think it has a made for television quality. The guy playing Travolta doesn't really look like him.
BTW, while on YouTube I found a mariachi cover of Hoplessly Devoted To You. It's good, but I think it would have been awesome in Spanish.

Sorry. I didn't realise the video wouldn't work for you and I just got the link off You Tube and put it on here but I am glad you were able to find it and watch it. I liked it and it wasn't anything spectacular but I think what I enjoyed most of all was Delta Goodrem's performance and she was really good at singing some of Olivia's songs and the soundtrack was so popular here they released two parts of it. It does have a made for TV look for it 'cause it was originally made as a two part mini-series for Channel 7 and there were a lot of people waiting to see it so they decided to give it some limited releases in movie theatres and also released it on the Box Office section on Foxtel.

Thanks for all that info. Wow. I did not know she was so popular in Australia. I've been a fan since I was a kid and saw my first music video with her.

Olivia Newton John is very popular here and she had multiple hits on the charts here in the 70s, 80s and 90s and I love her 'Gia: One Woman's Journey', 'Back With A Heart' and 'The Rumour' albums most of all. I don't know if you heard but she was all over the news here recently 'cause some nasty person made up false rumours about her being very close to death and Olivia had to speak out on a video and tell fans the reports weren't true. She was shocked by such negativity': Olivia Newton-John, 70, left 'hurt' by false reports she 'was clinging to life' - as friends claim she 'is responding to treatment better than expected'www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/article-6563019/Olivia-Newton-John-70-left-hurt-false-reports-impending-death.html

Tabloid's don't care about the truth. Only sensationalism and money. I'd say they're whores but that's an insult to the world's oldest profession.

I don't know who exactly started the death rumours but they seem to have originated from an American site called 'Radar Online' and after they posted them a number of other sites followed and they found their way into newspapers and magazines. General Kenobi is right. They don't care about the truth anymore and it is only about making money so they will publish anything if they think it will get people to buy their magazines or look at their websites and this is why a lot of former journalists here who used to work for gossip magazines like Women's Weekly and Women's Day have highly criticised the magazines they once worked for 'cause they haven't got any respect for the people they write and publish these articles about anymore.

Of course there was one tabloid that had so little regard for the truth and pushed the weirdness to 11 that it became sublime. The Weekly World News. No one believed them but they never failed at being entertaining.

I have seen some wacky headlines on newspapers here and there is one newspaper in Western Australia that is known for doing it for fun but did the journalists who were working for that newspaper actually believe the things they were writing 'cause that is insane if they did.

There was a Swamp Thing movie in the 1990s? huh. Don't remember that. I remember there was a Man-Thing made for TV movie on SyFy like a decade ago.

It apparently ran for three seasons in the early 90s and had 72 episodes so some people must have liked it. I never heard of it until last year when another member was talking about it on here and I don't think it aired here in Australia. Here is a short trailer for it.

The reviews are out everybody and it sounds like a lot of fans are enjoying the new 'Swamp Thing' show and some have criticised it for the lack of screen time of its title character in the first episode but have praised Crystal Reed's performance as Dr. Abby Arcane and I am looking forward to seeing it!! Has anybody here seen the show yet (dazz stargazer1682 @red taylorfirst1? ) and if so what did you think of it?
