I mean personally , I think it's a weird film. It's not a good one, not a good movie. On the other hand, at least it is a 'movie'. Which is more than what you can say about what is released today. And that's really saying something.
I mean , what can they really do now, that hasn't been done before at some point? And done way better in the past?
How can the movie business continue without ideas? And by now they've surely exhausted the amount of possible ideas they can have for film.
Any original thought that a filmmaker may have, has already been done before.
So anyway, although this movie will never be a classic, and doesn't necessarily hold up, it's still a movie.

Derp. I'm just saying, I'd rather watch a bad film from the past, than see what is made now, that they pass off as a movie. When it's actually total crap. I dunno, am I wrong in that? It's just, how I see things, I guess. Because if it's older , it's more likely to have a story, and I think that's what It comes down to, characters and story, and I just feel like they've exhausted them both. There is only so many of both, and they've been done before in many more intriguing ways. So there's not much left of the film industry to explore in terms of that?
I mean, does that make any sense? it's just how I see things really.
