Otherwise he would have been featured way more in the film. Instead of waiting over a hour to see him.
Those TV spots were full of shit.

It's almost as if you can't trust everything you see on tv.

It's almost as if they were telling a story and not just showcasing a popular character. Weird.

Right? And his smaller part is really killing the box office and fan reception. More like Mar-fail.
But seriously, BP was in 3 of the last 4 films, wasn’t he? One of which was his solo flick. His introduction in CW was incredibly well received and fans were excited for that solo venture. They had plenty of time to prep, but they probably didn’t want to suffocate us with too much of him in such a short span. BP is literally still in theaters right now. I can still do a double feature multiple times a day.

It is what it is. Avengers 4 had already stopped primary shooting this winter yes, with edits & re-shoots still to come. Besides, Black Panther will surely be one of MCU's major players for the next 5-10yrs. It's not like they can wait until 2 months prior to construct such a huge undertaking that is IW.

You think they would have still killed him off if they knew how successful the movie was going to be?

Nobody expected it--Forbes laid out the best case scenario for BP to top out at $880 million, not 1.3 Billion, and it would have been even higher than that if China didn't have such a mediocre response to the movie

He was featured as prominently as could be expected in the weakest part of the movie.

You think they would have still killed him off if they knew how successful the movie was going to be? The only ones who survived were the original Avengers yes? They're not going to be around much longer either way.

War Machine and Rocket and Nebula and the 3 other main Wakandans, also.

WB/DC could learn a lot from this method. X-men also or we wouldn't get yet another Dark Phoenix movie. We never had a Dark Phoenix movie and to suggest so is laughable because Jean never got much screentime.

Don't hate the player, hate the game. It's not Jean's fault the studio background the character for a story that nobody wanted. They made that movie so it is a thing. In continuity! They'll have to deal with it. At this point the Dark Phoenix story is the same as Batman's origin. ![](https://s26.postimg.cc/avssbww49/embarrassed.gif)

I thought they surprisingly did a good job balancing all the characters. There’s a lot going on and for the most part I was happy with all the individual threads going on. The focus was mostly on Thanos and for good reason. He was pretty much the driving force behind the plot and in a very interesting way, probably our primary protagonist. Makes sense the biggest side characters felt like the ones strongly linked to him...either by being the ones capable of defeating him or being ones linked to his past.
