I'm not even going to bother with getting the original trilogy on dvd or blu ray. I mean, there's so many different versions now, that it's confusing to me. And as far as I know they haven't even released the unaltered originals in perfect sound and picture have they? Somebody let me know if i'm wrong though.

IV-VI limited edition dvds, which apparently I could sell to buy a new car with now? I own those as well. I refused to buy any Star Wars DVDs that didn't include the original theatrical cuts. The original trilogy films are the only ones I own.

I laugh cuz they were my only option at the time. I'd put off the SW trilogy dvd madness when it happened, & simply bought all 6 at once on dvd. Those limiteds had no special pricing where I bought them, & they were the only standalone OT dvds on the shelves.

Which group of films have the better chance of ever coming to Blu-ray - The original, unaltered Star Wars trilogy or The Abyss and True Lies?

Wow, did you time travel from the 90s to 2018? You never got the DVDs for the OT? Or the Blu-rays. Never even had A New Hope or Return of the Jedi on VHS? Bizarre.

No, none of them--The only one I did think of buying at one point was Attack Of The Clones, the only Star Wars movie I actually liked

I own all of them on DVD and I also have the original trilogy, 'The Phantom Menace' and 'Attack of the Clones' on VHS which includes the standard and special remastered editions of the original trilogy.

All of them: *The Phantom Menace (dvd) *Attack of the Clones (dvd) *Revenge of the Sith (dvd) *Star Wars (dvd) *Empire Strikes Back (dvd) *Return of the Jedi (dvd) *The Force Awakens (blu-ray + dvd) *The Last Jedi (blu-ray) *Rogue One (blu-ray)
I always liked that I owned all the 6 original movies, so when the ST came out I wanted to have those as well to keep the Star Wars movie collection complete. Now I've spent too much money in it to stop so I'll probably continue to buy the new Star Wars movies to keep the collection complete. Even though I don't like the movie I think I might also have The Clone Wars movie.
