First 3-d was a Three Stooges movie that I can'nt remember the name of One of these perhaps ? Spooks! was the first of two Stooge shorts (the other being Pardon My Backfire) made by Columbia Pictures in 3D, after the 3D craze of 1953 began with Bwana Devil. It originally premiered on May 20, 1953 with the Columbia western Fort Ti (also in 3D). Hence, the lines in the opening scene (addressed to client George B. Bopper, who's awakened the snoozing Stooges): Moe: We'll be with you before you can say "Fort Ticonderoga." Larry: If you can say "Fort Ticonderoga." more about Spooks here

If 3D releases in general and not exclusively, I believe it was Megamind.

Well, I saw Friday 3 and Jaws 3 in 2D. The first one I saw in actual 3D was this piece of shit called Haunted Castle.

Jaws 3-D. Not only the movie itself was terrible, but so was the 3D quality.

Did you see it in the theater when it first came out?

I was 14 when it came out, so I was too young to see it in the theater. And that's really unfortunate because I always heard the 3D effects were amazing! So I had to resort to seeing it in 2D on video.

Wonder Woman. Never really had an interest in 3D, but I saw I saw that movie in 3D because it was a convenient showtime. I actually really liked the 3D, so I watched a few more movies in 3D, and most of them looked crappy. I pretty much went back to avoiding 3D.

Yep, Friday Part 3 for me as well. My older brother took me one Sunday, I can still remember the eyeball scene even now!

It was Honey I Shrunk the Audience at Epcot. It frightened me with lions and snakes moving toward you.

Either "House Of Wax" or "Fort Ti" both 1953. Who starred in the most 3D movies? Hint: he is the lead actor in "House Of Wax" Vincent Price

My Bloody Valentine 3D, I was blown away by the gag cinematography, and it's a decent slasher movie too.

Definitely some old 50's era movie on television in the early 80's, using those cheap glasses with the red and blue plastic lenses. The 3D effects were very iffy; you'd have to sit in just the right place and then maybe you'd get one effect that jumped out at you. But that was good enough in the era when we only had three channels, no internet, and could only see Star Wars movies every three years. Wouldn't see another 3D movie until the modern 3D era, not counting using cheap 3D glasses for a Laser Floyd show.
