At the beginning of the playoff, i predicted Washington would reach the Stanley Cup final. So Washington in 7.

Lightning in 6. Tough team and lots of speed. Speed they know how to use. The Pens forgot how to use their speed and the Caps took advantage of it.

Pulling for Washington, but I think Tampa takes it in 5.

Definitely pulling for Ovechkin to finally win a Cup but I'd be shocked if they get past the Lightning who I think are comfortably the best team in the East. Stamkos/Kucherov/Hedman/Vasilevskiy is a monster combination and they have great depth with McDonagh, Point, Callahan, Johnson etc.

i want to see ovie get a Cup and Washington celebrate something....
from up here i like when the Wiz and Nats are 'good' - when was the last time DC won anything?
tampa can go pound sand - they live in luxury 24/7 - DC has to endure our miserable 'seasons' if you can call it that anymore - 6 months of frigid weather followed by 6 months of unbearable heat anymore - what the hell happened to Spring and Autumn in the Northeast

'98 Capitals were the last team to even reach a final four. Crazy when you consider those really good Capitals and Nationals teams in the last decade.

Wow crazy last 8 seconds of the first period. Caps were up 1-0, Kucherov scored to tie it, crowd went wild. They had 6 men on the ice, and none were even close to getting off. Power play for Washington, Oshie won the faceoff, back to Ovechkin, scored on a blast with 2.3 sec left in the period. 2-0.
4-0 Caps now.

Well, that was a hell of a red herring. Capitals back to their usual playoff selves.
