Mark Ingram's appeal has been denied. He is facing a 4 game suspension for drug use. (Reportedly it was medical use of a banned substance. Not recreational drugs.) Local press reports Saints are asking Ingram to get his suspension out the way early so he will be available later on in the season should Saints contend for the playoffs.

He isn't built like the kinda guy who can grind the ball 25 - 30 times a game. He would just get hurt. I suspect the Saints will replace Ingram for four games. Or just run less. |

Or just run less. That's a shame. Darren Sproles was just available a couple of weeks ago..... Darrin Sproles isn't built like the kinda guy who can grind the ball either. He is even smaller. They have other good running backs. Ingram is just first string. |
