Maybe it's the Ulitmates or the Thunderbolts?

Maybe it's the Ulitmates or the Thunderbolts? Thunderbolts, yes. Ultimates? That means a reboot and I doubt that very much.

Never a doubt for me that a Marvel team would continue after The Avengers...New Avengers probably.
Hopefully Midnight Sons will get a film as well. And I'd welcome Thunderbolts and Secret Avengers.
Not sure how The Ultimates would work seeing so far the MCU has used elements of both the Ultimate and "regular" universes.
Also with all the possible time shift/alternate universe shananigans, maybe a way can be found to get The Invaders on screen!

The Thunderbolts were villains weren't they?
They could have done the Inhumans but they've completely wasted that.

The Eternals. Feige said it's one of the ideas they're considering for phase 4, and one of them was already mentioned in Infinity War. Since Marvel is going cosmic the Eternals could be the new Guardians if GOTG wraps up after vol 3.

I mean, they should. It's not like Marvel Studios is going to close down after Avengers 4.

I never thought they were stopping, honestly.
The Avengers lineup is constantly changing in the comics so I'd imagine it would be the same for the films.

There's no news here. They've already talked openly about the Eternals, and we know they're acquiring new properties. The 'beyond Avengers' thing is misleading because he also says there will be more Avengers films (and as someone pointed out, he's not going to go into detail on Avengers for obvious reasons).

I'd say they haven't announced the Phase 4 line up because it could spoil who lives and who dies.
If there's no Captain America movie for example then you know he's dead.
That said Chris Pratt did just say GOTG3 begins filming next year so they at least are coming back.

Is like Marvel Studios is going to close down after Avengers 4. Yes. All the actors contracts will be up and they'll move on.

If there's no Captain America movie for example then you know he's dead. Not necessarily. Someone else could replace Steve Rogers.

It would be a shame not to do an Avengers 5. Even without the original cast they have Black Panther, Spiderman, Witchy Woman, Captain Marvel, Ant Man, Wasp Woman ECT. ECT.

A new person taking the mantle of Captain America is an eventuality, exactly when is the only question. And the Guardians can be anyone in that setting. Hell, they introduced an entirely new crew at the end of GOTG 2.

The only one I could see taking over for Captain America is Bucky.
