Anyone think these films are good? I seem to remember liking them to an extent. Not sure if they have rewatch value.

Never saw either. Seemed like Matrix ripoffs.

I remember the old cartoon of Aeon Flux that used to come on Liquid Television late at night on MTV. The main thing I remember was that Aeon Flux died in every episode. I watched the movie later on but don't have much recollection of it. The only thing I really remember about Ultraviolet was Best Buy used to have it playing on all their televisions when bluray first came on the scene. I want to say it was one of the first blurays to exist.

Aeon Flux (2005, Karyn Kusama). I watched this mainly to see Charlize Theron. I was really surprised by how this film of a graphic novel stuck to its idea-based story all the way through to a final philosophical and intellectual outcome. Most of the major superhero action films start out pretending to be about character and personal conflict only to abandon the set-up for a last-half CGI animated extravaganza. “Aeon Flux” also has its share of silly action scenes, but they are all pointing toward the final revelations of the basis for the enclosed society and the secrets it holds. I rate this slightly higher than I normally would for a comic book movie just for the pleasant surprise.

Wasn't Aeon supposed to be the start of a franchise?

Avoid both terrible movies. Watch the brilliant Aeon Flux cartoon instead.
