In so special order other than the year being relased that is:
Exorcist II: The Heretic (1977) A Return to Salem's Lot (1987) It's Alive III: Island of the Alive (1987) Silent Night, Deadly Night 3: Better Watch Out! (1989) Sleepaway Camp III: Teenage Wasteland (1989) Halloween 4: The Return of Michael Myers (1988) Halloween 5 (1989) Watchers II (1990) Basket Case 2 & 3 (1990-91) Prom Night IV: Deliver Us from Evil (1992) Henry II: Portrait of a Serial Killer (1996) Blood Feast 2: All U Can Eat (2002) American Psycho 2 (2002) The Hills Have Eyes II (2007)
Should have put a couple of the awful and much later Howling titles in there too.

The most recent I have watched, would have to be The Hidden II (1993). Very labored and unimaginative follow-up.
Ones I can't get out of my head;
Silent Night, Deadly Night 3: Better Watch Out (1989). Bored me to tears.
Howling: New Moon Rising (1995) is in a class of its own.
Xtro 2: The Second Encounter (1990) & Xtro 3: Watch the Skies (1995). Mundane rip-offs.
Wrong Turn 3: Left for Dead (2009). Never bothered with rest after this one.
Pumpkinhead: Ashes to Ashes (2006)

It'd be easier to just list the 'best horror sequels'.

That said, definitely got to have Return to House on Haunted Hill as among THE WORST.

There are so many good mentions on this thread already. In particularly, I agree with "VHS: Viral," "Blair Witch 2,"Freddy's Dead," the sequels to "Xtro" and would submit "Jason takes Manhattan."
The "Hellraiser" stories, despite having a really cool premise and atmosphere, dropped in quality way too fast. There were flashes of brilliance and cool stuff in every sequel beyond part 2, but it felt less and less threatening as time went on...and isn't that what Hell is all about?
Did anyone like "Bride of Chucky?" I loved the Child's Play series up until this movie, but hated the direction "Bride" took it in. Chucky started out pretty dark. By part 3 he was Freddy-ing it a little bit (not a bad thing), but "Bride" felt like a parody. Same feelings for "Seed."
"Curse of Chucky" wasn't bad, but they totally screwed up his look. That scene with him under the blankets with the little girl is terrifying.

My initial thought is all of them but I had to choose
the second Nightmare on Elm Street as it conflicts so much with the series concept.

Texas Chainsaw Massacre 4, aka TCM, the Next Generation, aka Return of the TCM.
But there's actually an okay horror film lurking in that mess if it were edited some and had some sound reworking. But then it would be only 1 hour long.

Friday the 13th Part VIII: Jason Takes Manhattan (1989) Pet Sematary Two (1992) Children of the Corn II: The Final Sacrifice (1992)
I honestly struggled to get through these films (and never actually did make it all the way through the first title).
