Black Panther takes place underwater? Aquaman debut in 1941. Black Panther debut in 1966. So if anything, Black Panther ripped off Aquaman. Aquaman (the movie) is about the "king" of a mythical city hidden away from society that returns home to fight for his thrown against another family member. Got news for you. Wakanda isn't hidden at all. T'Chaka was invited to speak at the UN in Civil War. Do you MCU fans actually believe that the UN would invite the King of a country that is hidden and the general public doesn't even know it exists or where the hell it is to speak at a UN event in a UN building? Wakanda isn't hidden at all. It's just another example of bad writing in MCU movies.

Wakanda is an official country on the world map and considered to be poor. The only thing they hide behind a Star Trek cloaking device (seemingly since forever) is that they really are super rich and super-advanced with Star Wars level tech, all of which they do not want to share with their poor neighbors.

Did I at any point say that the country of Wakanda was hidden? Nope I did not.

To the public, it's just another third world country, as Agent Ross said in Black Panther. It's why there's an invisible force field and everything. The public does not know about it. Good try tho.

If they were really smart, they'd actually cast a Muslim for the role, or at least someone of Middle Eastern decent

Marvel used the pink & blue Kree as another racism thing. Ultimately Mar-Vell dies of cancer That would be a good way to say why Coulson didn't get Captain Marvel powers after TAHITI.
Yeah, I was meaning will they keep Mar-Vell around for more movies or kill him off right away from injuries to pass the torch.
There was a SHIELD ep that confused me on that-where Daisy had Kree blood but Coulson didnt? With...Hive. it was hive.

The basics of her origin is the same as Hal Jordan. So they ripped off Green Lantern? Not really. She’s an officer in the Air Force...that’s about as Hal Jordan is her story gets.

Where have I seen that before? She is caught in an explosion and has her genetic code mutated. It’s a pretty common trope. Now if she were given a necklace that enabled her to control light beams and inducted into an intergalactic police force...yea you’d have a point.

So MCU is going to make another movie for the SJWs? You got a problem with Muslims?? Not Muslims. Islam yes. But so long as the film doesn’t celebrate her religion.

I think the similarities will be more apparent in the movie. The comics had it spread out over years worth of comics.
