Halloween '78 - Of course you can't beat the original. Used to hate it and thought it was boring and slow, but I was young and stupid. But as you grow up, you learn to appreciate older films and what they set out to be. 10/10
Halloween: Return of Michael Myers - Was always my favorite Halloween sequel. Absolutely adored Ellie Cornell as well as Rachel. She was one of my favorite Halloween characters. Of all the slasher franchises, I always thought Halloween got you more invested in their characters than Nightmare or Friday. 8/10
H20 - 7/10
Halloween 2 - 6/10
RZ: Halloween - 6/10 RZ: H2 - 5/10 As misguided as Rob Zombie's Halloween films were, Laurie and Annie's relationship throughout both of them, as well with Sheriff Brackett were the only redeemable factor about it despite the crudeness and dropping the f-bomb every other line.
Halloween 5: Revenge of Michael Myers - 4/10 Halloween 6: Curse of Michael Myers - 4/10 Halloween: Resurrection - 3/10

They also splice the scene of Jimmy slipping in Nurse Alves blood right after the explosion making it look like the explosion caused him to fall. Yes! That's my favorite part. So ridiculous. My favorite part is at 2:03: Oscar worthy.

The fact we get connected to the characters more than in other franchises is exactly why it’s my favourite. Jamie is one of the most sympathetic characters in horror film history, you feel sorry for her.

Yes! That's my favorite part. So ridiculous. My favorite part is at 2:03: Oscar worthy. Wow, how I missed out on all this is a mystery to me. Though, isn’t that supposed to be from the actual movie? The only difference I see is they added the theme in the background at that moment.

The first two were absolute classics especially the original; the rest were garbage.

The other cop that is standing with them, the one that hit Ben Tramer is Dick Warlock. So I guess we could say that Michael killed Ben Tramer too!

What is the difference between the original version and the Producer's Cut of 'Halloween 6: The Curse of Michael Myers?' I have never seen it before and have been wanting to for years but all the sites I have seen it on have it on Blu Ray including a big box set of 'Halloween' I saw on Amazon a few years ago that had it and the original version together and I can't get American Blu Rays to work on our Blu Ray player. Is it true Jaime had a bigger role in the Producer's Cut and lived longer? Yes, Jamie has more screentime in the P-Cut. Plus a ton of other changes. Is it true Jaime had a bigger role in the Producer's Cut and lived longer? They’re two very different takes. the producers cut gives more screen time to Loomis, the man in black and Jaime’s role is slightly larger. She doesn’t die the same way as in the theatrical version. This means some deaths are changed, and even deleted (at the backend). The kills are less graphic and the body count is way smaller. The overall plot including the little details (like the Strode family scenes) are expanded on. The thorn backstory is fleshed out way more and makes more sense to what’s going in scenes which didn’t in the theatrical, despite still coming off silly. This means the back half of the film is way different, compared to the theatrical version. Totally new scenes and set-up. Below is a very informative youTube link that perfectly explains the history behind the post-production, and difference between the two cuts side by side. I think you’ll find it interesting. I only own the theatrical version, but I didn’t realise the producer’s cut was only available on bluray. It did get its own release soon after the box set came out, but looks like just on bluray. It does suck when they do that, especially for international buyers. I had to buy the “Laser” brand bluray player so I could collect other region blurays, as I think it’s the only brand locally that plays all regions. Got it at BigW. Okay. Wow. Thanks for letting me know about that both of you and thanks for the video Lostinlimbo. I wasn't aware they were that different and when I first heard about the Producer's Cut I thought there would have been a few slight changes but the more I read about it the more it sounded like there were a lot of differences compared to other Director's and Producer's Cuts of movies I have seen. I also heard there were three different endings for the movie and there was one where Dr Loomis died and another where he survived but I am not sure what the third was. When they first brought out that box set I was really hoping we would get it here in Australia and I thought there was a chance we might 'cause we have got other movie box sets here but just like the 'Friday the 13th' box set that came out the year before it which I wanted to get too 'cause it had all these bonus features they never released it here and weirdly enough they re-released all the 'Friday the 13th' movies here on DVD and I think it was the first four which had all the bonus features the ones in the box set had but the rest of them were just the movies without any bonus content.
It is weird what they release here and what they don't sometimes and I have heard there are some Blu Ray players here that will play American Blu Rays but I didn't know they had one of them at Big W and we will have to look into getting some 'cause before we knew American Blu Rays wouldn't work here we made the mistake of ordering some from the American Amazon store only to watch them when they arrived in the mail and realise they wouldn't work at all and I was under the impression they would work fine 'cause we had been watching all the American DVDs we had got from the site on our Blu Ray player but they didn't. I hate Region codes and I don't understand why they even have them 'cause they don't have them on other things like CDs and you would think they would want to sell them to as many people as possible around the world. Thanks for that again though.

After seeing 2018, I would place it at #4, so between II and 4 for me.

The rest of the entries especially the Rob Zombies are too unwatchable for me to ever view again.

I would still be able to rank them, even if they may seem bad.

I would still be able to rank them, even if they may seem bad. I don't what is worse, H5 or Resurrection, However, I can definitely rank the Rob Zombie movies lower than those two.
