Rate: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (1987)

I really would love to rate it a perfect 10/10 but I have only a handful of DVDs of the show, never got around to pick up the entire collection (2012) which was released inside the Turtle party wagon, and now it seems a little bit too pricy and also I gotta be honest I thought for such a price, it do have a rather cheap look to it but I guess it is whats on the inside that counts but again, many have complained about how the DVD discs have been put together and that they are easily damaged as the result of little space and son on.
I do have most of season 1-3 or 4, not really sure but having seen a few of the later episodes, specially the ones where they travel to europe, the lack of quality was surely a big disapppointment, specially in how poorly animated some of the episodes were.

Never saw the entire show through, as it somehow disappeared around 1994 or 95 on norwegian television, and they only released a handful of DVD volumes (7 of them) with about 3-4 episodes each, back in 2002-03.
So, beside that I ended up getting a hold of some of the region 1 versions which had far more episodes on them and in the right order.
As a kid I loved it, seeing it again as first a teenager then later on as an adult, I still get a kick out of it, but compared to the superior movie from 1990 or the very well made 2002-09 TV series, it have not aged that well, but nostalgia can do wonders at times.
