I was watching it with some girl when it just came out. And there's this one part as you know where the character Jade, gives Cooper a ride in her jeep, and the person I watched it with said jokingly, 'she sure has a nice car for a prostitute, lol.'
Then later when evil cooper shoots the female in the hotel room with a silenced gun , the girl I watched it with goes, jokingly, 'I'm sure the people in the room next to it didn't hear that, lol.'
She actually thought those two things were plotholes, and i'm like, wtf?
There was nothing unrealistic about those two things. Right?I wanted to tell her, her brain doesn't work right.
There was only two things in the first 4 episodes that were unrealistic, but those two things ( I mentioned) weren't an example of that.

A prostitute can have a nice car depending on how much she charges. Did the episode show whether there were people in the other hotel room or not?

A prostitute can have a nice car depending on how much she charges. Did the episode show whether there were people in the other hotel room or not? You haven't seen twin peaks the return? Ok let me explain in detail:
The person that commented on the show called Jade a ' prostitute', but on the show she is a high priced call girl, and the person she offered services to was a lawyer, nonetheless call girls frequently receive gifts from thir clients anyway, ( I saw a documentary on this topic of call girls once)so it's not unreasonable to assume that either the car was bought by one of her clients, or it was a car that she could afford to buy herself.
Considering in the film Klute, the call girl in that film charged 100 an hour back in 1971, adjust for inflation that's 700 dollars today. You make 700 an hour you can afford to buy yourself a new jeep. Imo. You could at least afford to make payments on it, at the very least.
Second thing, I guess it's possible that someone in the next hotel room could hear a silencer go off(whether they knew exactly whether or not it was a silencer is another story). It don't even matter cuz, in the very next scene of the show, the next door hotel room that the killer goes into, the room directly on the other side of where she got shot in the head has his partner in it, his female partner, who not only knew that he was going to murder the other girl that he just murdered, but she also wanted her dead also. There's no way she had any reason to call the police. Because as soon as he goes to the next door hotel room she says, "thank god that bitch is finally dead." Or words to that effect.
Like , can you see why I was frustrated?
