Liked it. Better than the first for me.

Nice.
I too have problems with many of the jokes in the first movie. Many of them were too pop culture-y for my taste ie. the Taken part is funny but feels very forced and out of place and while the strap-on part is also funny, it's not the kind of joke I want in my Deadpool movie. My main two big issues with the first were the lame relationship story and the villain is a complete bore. I am hoping this one has less of his love interest in it and a better villain.
The main reason I expect to like this one better though is Josh Brolin as Cable, who is one of my favorite X-Men charcters.

Definitely less love interest, and the antagonists are better (well, Eddie Marson's is kinda lame, but he's hardly in it). I don't know a ton about Cable, but I liked him here. Especially when he's being a foil for Deadpool. It also felt like there were less pop culture references, outside of ones to other superhero movies which I'm fine with. Some good DCEU and MCU digs, and of course X-Men ones.

Nice review. I’ll be waiting for the wide release. How would you rate it from 1-10?
