these refs are calling it like when i work a summer league game....no travelling, no charges... this is the nba playoffs right? That's why I stopped watching the NBA on a regular basis in the early 90's. Too much non-called traveling, fouls and too many hard fouls. The league became it's own form of basketball rules be damned. As a former amateur player I and everyone else played by the rules and the surprising thing is there were fewer fouls and turnovers that slows the game down.

Not really surprised it ended up this way, effectively a must win for Boston.

tatum on the celtics hooks his guy on the drive about each time down---that's not a foul? Tatum commits an offensive foul on EVERY drive he makes. Seriously. I have not seen it called once in this playoffs. I just cannot believe that it is okay to blatantly push off with a stiff arm every time you drive to the basket.

Simmons picks up his dribble and takes four steps on every drive to the basket. No he does not. You're honestly the worst homer on this board, you know that? I think Tatum travels, too. I know Kyrie carries the ball because every NBA player does. But you're going to pretend Simmons doesn't walk because he's on your team. Just like every other team that loses one game is 'in trouble,' but your team was going to win the next three games after they lost. How did that turn out? And now that they lost, you're going to root hard against the C's because you hate Boston. Any other team loses one game, they're in trouble. Cleveland goes down 0-2 to Boston and suddenly you can never count them out. I agree, by the way. Lebron has come back from 3-1 against Golden State for Christ's sake, no reason to think he couldn't come back on an undermanned Celtics squad. I just find the double standard hilarious. I just wish you could appreciate what the Celtics are doing here. They lost their second best player on opening night, lost their best player with a month to go in the season and here they are up 2-0 in the ECF. Meanwhile your team would've packed it in and started tanking as soon as your star went down in October. "It's all part of the process." Truth is, if you had bulldogs like Smart, Morris and Rozier instead of head cases like Fultz and cowards like Embiid (who talked shit the entire series and practically ran off the court after the buzzer sounded in game 5) you would've beaten the Celtics. Maybe next year they'll respect the game a little more and actually produce some results. Either way I won't expect you to actually learn anything about basketball by then.

First of all, I have forgotten more about basketball than you know. Second of all, show me one highlight, ONE, where Simmons takes four steps. Three I can see, this is the NBA. Every player gets away with steps. Tatum, seriously commits a foul EVERY time he goes to the basket. I do not need to go searching for a highlight. He does it every play. Also, I give Boston plenty of credit. They play hard defense and they play good team ball. They have a better all around team and a much better coach than the Cavs. All I said was do not count Lebron out. That has nothing to do with being a homer. I hate Lebron with a passion, but he is the best player in the NBA. Preseason I picked Philly to have 48 wins and lose in the second round. I predicted the Eagles to have 11+ wins and compete for a championship. I was almost dead on with both predictions. Just because I love my teams does not mean I am still not right. I am almost right with everything I predict on this board, well as right as I can be with sports. Philly is the better team than Boston. Embiid is better than anyone on the Boston roster. Logic says they should have won the series. Every expert out there picked them to win. They just got outcoached for games 1-3 and when Brown finally decided to show up, it was too late. How is Embiid a coward? He talks crap to players and backs it up every game. Frankly, it is nice to see. I actually remember 80s and 90s basketball where every player did this. Now the sport is full of a bunch of best buddies. I am glad there are players like Embiid.

Tom Brady is better than anyone on the Eagles roster. Therefore they are the better team.

If I had a dollar for every time you pretended to be knowledgeable on any given topic and then immediately made an ass of yourself, I could fund the next Avengers movie. Brilliant defense of Simmons by the way. "It's three steps, not four." Sometimes I wonder if you're even an adult. "There's NO WAY that ever happens again! The Sixers will win the next three games!!!" I explained how Embiid was a coward. He talked shit the entire series and ran off the court like a pussy when they lost. I mean he really hightailed it out of there, it was comical. He's going to be a great player in this league for a long time, but that was a bitch move. I also picked Philly to win that series. You were going to pick Philly no matter what, because you're the ultimate homer.
