So tough to choose just one. I guess I will have to go with Han Solo. As he was a fun and relatable realist which contrasted well to the idealistic Luke and Leia.

Han Solo (RIP) was definitely awesome. His origin story is one of the few side-story movie ideas I'm excited about. I'm pissed they killed him in TFA. Now with Carrie gone too, I have concerns about the future of the franchise. The new characters they introduced to us in TFA don't seem strong enough to carry the franchise.

 pretty random options! Why is there no Palpatine in the list, one of the most important characters in the entire Saga...? Or Bail Organa, or Maul, Grievous, Fetts or other anagonists, but Darth and Jabba are there? |

I think you might be getting less votes for Darth Vader because you wrote Anakin/Darth instead of just Darth Vader. I would've gone as far as to list them separately.
As far as I'm concerned I accept them in my heart as separate characters. Its the only way I can see my clear toward accepting whine-akin as turning into badass Darth Vader.
Intellectually I know they're one guy, but I cant imagine any other character so separate in their incarnations than those two (except for maybe when Wolverine turned out to be little fop James Howlett in the Origin comic book; ugh). |
