Twilight Time via Screen Archives Entertainment is having a $15 sale for 15 of their titles. The three that I'm interested in are Night of the Generals (Peter O'Toole), Hardcore (George C. Scott), and a double film on 1 bluray of Tom Sawyer/Huckleberry Finn (Johnny Whitaker). I saw Tom Sawyer years ago but the other films would be blind buys. Here is a link to the sale for those interested. Reason I have to limit my purchases to two is otherwise my wife would kill me for spending $45 plus shipping on 3 blurays (she doesn't understand my film fascination) LOL. Twilight Time Sale |

Night of the Generals is a favourite of mine but it may not be to everyone's taste.

Haven't seen two of them but Hard Core is pretty hard core--the scene where he watches the porn film is intense.
It has some Star Wars references--a picture of Darth Vader in the daughter's room, a sign advertising the movie in one shot and strippers dueling with light sabers in a club.

I wouldn't pay $1 for Hardcore or Night Of The Generals, although the latter is kind of fun in a silly way.

I never saw Hardcore. I enjoy Night of the Generals and Tom/Huck so I would go with those.
